Kia Ora, I have chosen to comment on Tehanah. The reason why I have chosen to comment on Tehanah was because we are friends. We are the most self managing people at our school. I don't have much to say about Tehanah but this is my comment that I done on Tehanah.💖💖

Ki-O-Rahi!

Today our P.E coach cam into our class and choose the 20 people to go down to Lindvart Park, and represent Tautoro School. I got chosen to represent our school. We done some practice today. The main thing that we learn't today was communicating with others, learning how to run around not stand around like statues. Our warm up was to run around the Ki-O-Rahi field so we can start playing. I have learn't the basic's of playing Ki-O-Rahi. I was an excellent game. The rest of the people that didn't get picked went outside to play Maori sports. They said that because we got chose for Ki-O-Rahi it's not fair, so they went outside to go and play some Maori sports. In our group was Zephaniah, Chrystalle, Tristan, Sonny-Boy and I. We have a great team. We had to communicate with the team so that we can have a turn at getting the ball.

Why do stars twinkle?

This is a short story of what we had to read. So all of the highlighted words were the words that were  wrong. The challenge was to try and fix up the mistakes of all the wrong words. The hardest part was when I had to find out what to do when I was finished. The easiest part was when I finished writing the spelling words correctly. I find reading the hardest subject and math is the easiest. This is the short amount of writing that I wrote yesterday. I was supposed to put in the vocabulary but I obviously got stuck and forgot.

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little star.

You may be surprised to learn that stars actually never do no twinkling at all!
When you look at a star they are seeing them through the the thick layers of air that make
up the earth's atmosphere. When the stars light passes through these layers of air,
the light is bent or ‘refracted’ differently by each layer.  This is because of moisture in the air,
as well as different air temperatures and the movement of the air,
Together, it makes the starlight seem to be moving, witch we see as twinkling.

Ko Te Kupu Ahau.

Today we went with Whaea Chanella for Te Reo Maori. We learnt the simple things about Te Reo. The easiest part of today was nothing, because I am just too good for Te Reo Maori. I am the best at Te Reo Maori so I finished this really fast. The hardest thing about today was absolutely nothing, because we learnt everything when we started. Technology.

This week Me and Tehanah were partners. When we got to the Intermediate we had to go to their powhiri. Then we went to have a kai. We didn't have enough time to finish our dish, but we ended up finishing it. We made some bacon and eggs with chocolate pastry. The successful thing about the day was that we made a success in our dish, we also didn't fail with anything. Nothing was bad!

Technology!.

In the past weeks, the year 8's went to technology. Me and Tehanah were partners. We had to make a dish using flour, sugar, butter, banana's, tomatoes, raro, bacon, Milo, eggs, baked-beans, milk, weetbix, coco-pops and bread. At first me an Tehanah had an idea, we were thinking of making pancakes, maple syrup and bacon. But then something happened... The pan didn't work and the pancakes burnt. So we decided to make something else it was... A banana cake. The successful thing about that day was that we eventually came up with something. The bad things were that our pan didn't work and the pancakes burnt.

Computational Thinking.💖

We are learning about computational thinking. We have learn't how to write an algorithm to get a pirate to the treasure chest. We made our own coding programme and challenged a friend to solve it. I think the hardest part was when I had to find our what arrow was forward. The easiest part was when I had the time to create my own coding programme. In order to be successful I had to remember to make sure that my instructions were set properly.💖💖
