Kupu Hou!.

Here is my Kupu Hou presentation. This is actually my Te Reo. But I forgot to post it up on my blog, because, I have been away for a long time. I honestly don't know what to say but... This is my presentation.

Te Reo Maori

This is my Te Reo Maori book that I had to translate from Maori to English. There is a slide with the photo of the book that I was reading. The other slide is the English translation of the book that I read. The book is called Te Whakataetae Waka Ama. Our Te Reo Maori teacher is Whaea Chanella. I like to do Te Reo. Why? Because I think that I am the best at Te Reo. (Besides Kohatu). I think Tehanah and I are the best girls (At Te Reo), and Kohatu is the best boy.

Tauparapara/Whakatauki

Ki te tōku mohiotanga. Ko te tauparapara he whakapuare i mua i te mihi. (A tauparapara is an opening before a mihi.) Traditionally who recites a tauparapara? The men recite the tauparapara. Ma nga tane te tauparapara. E hara ma nga wahine (Not for the women) He aha te tauparapara? (What is a Tauparapara)  Ko te tauparapara he karakia no etahi hapu, iwi ranei. A tauparapara is too bless each doorway of each realm or dimension.

Te Reo Maori

This is another video that I was wanting to post to my blog. This is a simple Te Reo Maori video. Our group just had to talk to each other with simple everyday sentences. In our group is Marta, Tehanah and I. I have trying my hardest to finish most things as possible.

Ko Te Kupu Ahau.

Today we went with Whaea Chanella for Te Reo Maori. We learnt the simple things about Te Reo. The easiest part of today was nothing, because I am just too good for Te Reo Maori. I am the best at Te Reo Maori so I finished this really fast. The hardest thing about today was absolutely nothing, because we learnt everything when we started.
