My Smart Information. 💞

Today we had Whaea Deb come into our class. We done some Smart information. The hard thing for me was, trying to think about what I like the most. The easy this was creating the presentation. I enjoyed being creative. I made the Netflix, and the Youtube sign. Enjoy:).

Positivity and Negativity!.

WALT: Create a positive digital learning Footprint.

Today Whaea Deborah came into our school, and we done some Positive and Negative things. I learn't something new, and it was that we had to make sure, that we knew what we wanted to post on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Messenger etc. She also taught us that if we take a photo, make sure we don't send it around to too much people, only the people that you trust. If you see a negative comment, leave something positive, so everyone can be happy. When we were doing this Footprint., My buddy and I, didn't find anything challenging. Next time, I would like to ask, if we could do some more, so our whole class can understand what we are actually doing. Here is the poster that we had to work on. Tehanah (My Buddy) Worked on Herman, and I worked on Deborah and Jenna. Here is our work.

Thunder & Lightning

This is what I have decided to do today, because some of my friends and I, missed the bus to go to Northland College for Nga Manu Korero. I enjoyed my day today. We done our presentation on Thunder and Lightning, and we also done, Did you know questions.

Support teacher.

This week we have decided to make some cards for our support teachers. Kohl-lee, Tehanah and I have made one each for, Matua Matt, Whaea Janet and Whaea Chanella. I have decided to make mine for Whaea Janet. She is actually my aunt. In the inside are all of the names of the people, that she used to take for all subjects. I have know Whaea Janet for a very long time. I am going to miss Whaea Janet when I leave this school, because she has provided me with the best support I could ever ask for.

Personalised Pathways

Today Whaea Sue finally came into our class. We done some more things on our Personalised Pathways. I have enjoyed this afternoon. Why? Because we have P.E right after we finish this. There are 2 things that I am really willing to learn about. They are Communicating and leaderships. Here is a photo of my goals.

Scratch Jr.

WALT: Create our own coding activity to guide people to start using Scratch Jr more often. I learned to create a grid. How by using the squares to make your own lines. I have also to create individual coding activity using Scratch Jr. These are the step that we had to follow. I have made a little video down below. I hope you enjoy. :)

Tech.

Kia Ora Koutou. Today I have chosen to put on my Technology. Why?, because the yr8's go down to the Kaikohe Intermediate to do some technology. Our Technology teacher is Whaea Maureen. Here is a presentation with some information about what we are doing at technology.

Do you know how to do assonance?

I am Learning to use the right There,Their and they're homophones. Assonance means the same vowel sound that keeps sounding the same. We learnt how to do Assonance poems and how to use the correct Homophones. Now I know how to use Assonance because before I didn't know how to use Assonance. Next time we are going to learn on alliteration.
